library provides access to the PA POWER Library database, allowing you to search
magazines on-line.

Pennsylvania residents and students providing immediate answers to their

The library has a collection of 35,000 books, over 1,000 DVDs, 400 books-on-tape, and subscribes to 85 magazines and 7 newspapers. Our patrons check out over 85,000 items annually.

Inter-Library Loan Service
Inter-Library Loan Service: "If we don't have it, we can get it." To request any book, fill out an Inter-Library Loan from at the circulation desk. We will borrow the book from another library and call you when we receive it. Delivery time is a minimum of two weeks.

Internet Access

Internet access is available free-of-charge at 11 computer stations. The computers are also equipped with Microsoft Office.

Study & Reading Rooms

A
study room is equipped with chairs/table.
A reading room with comfortable seating contains the library's magazines and
newspapers.

Fax Service

Fax service is available at the library. The cost is $2 for the first page and $1 for each additional page. It costs $1 per page to receive a fax.

Photocopier

The library has a self-service photocopier. The cost is 15 cents per page.

Local History / Genealogy Questions
The Bedford County Library does not have a local history department. There is, however, an organization in the county that can help you.
